Description
This course examines the properties and changes occurring in produced fluid from the reservoir to production facilities. The methods of chemical selection to mitigate corrosion, emulsion, foam, scale, wax, asphaltenes, hydrates etc will be covered.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Participants will understand how the use of chemicals can prevent problems, improve production and economics, and extend the life of the production equipment.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the major flow impediment in the production system and Identify the chemicals used in production system to control it’s formation.
- Recognize techniques to evaluate and select chemicals.
